Who invited /discovered zodic sign?

The origins of the zodiac signs are believed to date back to ancient Babylon around 2,500 BCE. The Babylonians divided the sky into 12 regions, each named after the constellation that was most prominent in that area. The zodiac signs as we know them today, however, are attributed to the ancient Greeks, who developed the concept of the zodiac further and associated each of the 12 signs with a specific set of personality traits. It is not clear who exactly "discovered" the zodiac signs, as they have been used by various cultures throughout history.
