Are gadgets really going to replace books?

While technology has certainly made reading digital content more convenient and accessible, it is unlikely that gadgets will completely replace books. Many people still prefer the physical experience of reading a book, the smell of the pages, the feel of the cover and the ability to write notes in the margin, etc. Additionally, some people find that reading from a screen can cause eye strain and headaches. Furthermore, many people argue that the experience of reading a physical book is a more immersive and memorable experience than reading from a digital device.

That being said, e-books and other digital reading platforms have become increasingly popular in recent years and are likely to continue to grow in popularity as technology improves. However, it's unlikely that they will completely replace physical books. They will more likely complement each other, and the choice will be of the reader to choose the format they prefer.
